Hi, quick hypothetical question as the goods seem fine.
Ordered sink and taps online. Eventually delivered, but printed on the outside in big writing - Goods must be checked within 3 days and any faults reported otherwise returns not accepted.
Is that legal?

Where did you buy them? Did the website mention anything about B2B or trade only?0

No it's not legal. The law states that the consumer has a "reasonable" period to confirm that the goods conform to contract.

(If this was a trade-only seller then it's likely a B2B contract, so the T&Cs of the contract take precedence. If the 3 days was not mentioned in the T&Cs then having this requirement printed on the packaging is a variation to contract - unless the agreed T&Cs at time of purchase allow for such variations).0
