Worried that I won't get JSA before the bank holiday weekend...

Hi folks,
I signed on for the first time yesterday and I'm meant to be getting paid Friday which of course is a bank holiday. My JSA is in payment and my claim is up and running as I've had the letters etc..
Will it go in the bank tomorrow instead? I'm slighty worried as our job centre are known for their !!!! ups. When my other half was claiming JSA back in 2008 he would go sign on but then no money would be in the bank on the day it was meant to be.
When he rang them to ask why they tried saying he hadn't signed on! This happened at least once a month and each time it turned out that it was their fault as they had not done their job properly and failed to input his signing on onto the system correctly! This resulted in him having to go for counter payments or sometimes if he was lucky they paid him by faster payment into our account that same day.
I've already been 3 weeks without anything other than my CTC's due to them cocking things up, it's been hard so I sure as hell don't want to have to wait any longer!
TIA x
