Help needed

Hi all
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I need as swift a response as possible.

The mother in law has had £500 put into her account re:her re-claim, she’s owed another £508.

Does anyone have a pro-forma for accepting the £500 as part payment without prejudice, but signalling intention to go after the full amount if they don’t pay it up within the next 7 days?

Thanks in advance

    You can of course make it a bit longer but the gist of it is this:

    I cannot accept the sum of £xxx as full and final settlement of my claim for £xxx referred to in my letter dated xxxxx. I will accept this sum of £xxx as part payment only, and without prejudice, but will continue my claim for the balance via court if you do not settle the whole amount by xxxxx.
