I've had a few hundred from Topcashback, a big chunk of which was from a new broadband contract that I was going to take out anyway. If something has been rejected and you don't think it should have been, it's always worth challenging. I've found certain places (cough, Music Magpie) will always decline so always need raising.

Just to add that I have had well over £2000 tax-free over the last few years, and I'm on my own, so I'm not a huge spender. Just stuff you buy anyway.

If you haven't received anything it is presumably because you don't have cookies working. You must check this because that's how it gets recorded.

Then after the transaction I go through the process of making a claim but just in order to check that the transaction has been recorded.

Sometimes you have to make a claim (I have one from almost a year ago for my breakdown cover), and very often it takes an awful long time for the money to come through. It's a small amount of work for a very good gain.

I started with Quidco, and now check out Quidco, TopCashBack, and iMutual.

I'm very strict about clearing cookies for each page I look at - Shift, Ctrl, Delete often brings up the page to clear cookies.

I joined Top Cashback in November 2010. I've spent £13,906 and received £1499 cash back.

I use Internet Explorer for cash back shopping, and Chrome for everything else. I always delete my IE browsing history before making a purchase.

I've had two issues of items not tracking which were resolved when I raised a ticket to query them.

I use Topcashback and Quidco and sometimes imutual - and cashback is successful 90% of the time. Have received several £100s over the last few years.

As others have said, if it's not working for you it's probably a cookie problem - the cashback simply will not track if you buy from a site you have previously visited independently of the cashback site.

So if you're buying, say, insurance from Churchill don't visit their site first, or if you do do that clear cookies afterwards and then revisit via Topcashback.

If that sounds like a PITA then as others have said the simplest way round it is to have a browser you use ONLY for cashback purchases.

Then you can visit whatever sites you like in whatever order you like using your usual browser, getting comparative quotes etc without worrying about cookies.

Then when you have comparative info open your cashback only browser, clear cookies on it just to be sure, log in to your cashback site and go from there to the chosen supplier.

I use Opera browser for cashback these days - clearing cookies (I just clear all private data) is easily done manually from their pull-down menu and you can of course set it to auto-clear cookies on closing, though I prefer to be sure by doing it manually on opening.

Had several things not track with Quidco (often with ASOS) but usually got the cashback after putting in a claim. Only time I don't really get anything is when I have returned the clothing for refund (which is understandable).

I've got £20 in account but can't get it because you have to have £40 before you can claim any money, and now they are closing down :( so no money..

I've had over £1100 off Quidco over the years and when I've had to submit tickets to question something, I've found them quick to respond and they give reasons. Aside from saying "tough titty" did they not actually give a reason it didn't track?

Make sure when you visit through quidco you go to your internet options, add/remove individual cookies and delete all cookies relating to the website you are visiting, that way you know it's likely to track.

I've had about £3600 back from quidco and TCB over the last 3 or so years. I've had very few problems with either.
