Dialing an 888 toll free number from the UK

Hi, I need to ring an 888 number which I think is in Canada. Obviously I will be using my landline which is with BT. Can anyone advise how to do this and if it will still be free? Thanks so much.

If you prefix the number with 001 then you should be able to call it. However it will get charged at the normal rate for a Canadian landline number
