Can I just ignore PCN From Euro Car Parks ?

I have gone through old threads on this subject and mostly it would be the advice of some to IGNORE all correspondence from day one, ie I received a overstayed PCN (Parking notice charge) from Euro car parks at Sainsbury's in Salford, It is a free car park for customers which I was for up to 180 minutes, Arriving at 11-25 am (according to photo on PCN) I had a breakfast and coffee in Sainsbury's, it took around an hour, I then left to attend a meeting in Manchester city centre which I have proof of, I also have a Pay and Display parking ticket for the time I was parked in the City centre from 13-12pm expiring at 15-12pm although it does not have my registration number on it. I left the meeting at around 2-20pm and went back to Sainsbury's to re-fuel and parked up again for a coffee, strangely I parked in the same bay (Must be a creature of habit) I left Sainsbury's at 15-28pm (According to the PCN) In a nutshell I was photographed in but not out first time then and out but not in second visit so looks as if I was there for 4 hours which I wasn't  What should I do the have sent a £70 Charge reduced to £40 if paid in 14 days of notice

    1) you do not ignore since the law changed 18 months ago (pofa 2012) - so you got that part wrong - so only a fool would ignore a private parking charge invoice in england or wales

    2) you should read the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum, it has the latest advice and links etc

    3) you should not hijack another members thread for your own purposes, therefore please use the blue NEW THREAD button when you have done 1) and 2) and start your own topic

    thanks

ps:- I have asked a board guide to split this thread as per the rules

Do not ignore, read the stickies and get sainsburrys to cancel it, if they wont call off their agents then bill sainsburys for your wasted time ( see the sticky and re-word the bit on expenses slightly aiming it at Sainsburys.
