Insurance and selling question ?

Hi I have a car and a motorbike im planning on selling privately within 1 months time.It has become very complicated because of the new 'continuous insurance enforcement" rule. Both vehicles are currently taxed and insured the car insurance which runs out in 1 month and the motorbike insurance also expires in 1 month.How do I sell them and not get fined ? as it seems hideous because if i sorn them then no one is interested in buying because it involves unsorning then taxing just to test drive and if they are not interested then it becomes a joke with the paperwork every time.If I insure the vehicles just to sit on the driveway all the time never being used on public roads waiting for a buyer to take a look then I take a big hit.Is there a better way ?

Is there a period of time where if your the registered keeper of vehicle and there is no insurance present because it expired how long until the fine is sent out is 2 weeks safe?

So you be realistic with the possible acceptance price, price accordingly and sell both vehicles before the insurance expires.
I don't see why you need to keep them both 'conveniently' until the insurance expires, seems like just making a rod for your own back.
