Company car or cash - Mileage Question
Help with mileage
Does anyone know of a spreadsheet that will allow you to see if you would be better off taking a company car and doing 20K miles or if you would be better off taking the allowance and running your own car.y own car is 1 year old and I like it.
700 pounds per month cash allowance or BMW520d SE/ Audi A5177 Se Tecknik plus 15p mileage allowance

My mum always used her own car and took the mileage money as she felt it saved the NHS money. And she preferred to own he own car.
She would drive to Dumbarton several times a month which was a 300 mile return trip. Aswell as visiting the various Hospitals and Clinics she was responsible for running.
You can either make your own spreadsheet.
Or just do the sums they are not that complicated.
Though i would expect you would need to have business cover on your insurance policy as SDP&Commuting only covers you to a fixed place of work.0
