Harvey nichols store card

Hi there,
Anyone had any success in tracking down information for an old Harvey Nichols Store card?
I had a card with them years ago, I still have the card number.
I have written to Santander and HSBC to ask if PPI was paid on it and to confirm my balance was repaid in full, I have come up against brick walls at every turn. Santander said the account was not with them and to try HSBC, HSBC has been fruitless.
I now understand it is new day ltd who services Harvey Nichols cards.
Does anyone know if any claim would be with the present or past credit provider or Harvey Nichols themselves?
Thanks in advance

The seller has liability. Store cards weren't regulated prior to January 2005 so they can dismiss your complaint.

Hi, I am in exactly the same position, there are no records of all three previous addresses, HN have no record of my account, neither do New Day, HSBC or Santander who are dealing with PPI claims. I am just wondering if you had any luck?
