Radiators...

We are about to have new piping & new radiators in our apartment & wanted some advice if possible.
We have an open plan space of 6m x 7m to heat, is it better to have 2 or 3 radiators? Or does it not matter as long as you reach the correct BTU that the area needs to heat?
I have done the radiator calculator on B&Q website but you have to select how many radiators you are going to have.
Thank you in advance!

I'd probably have 2 or more (depending on the size you want to go for) in that size space to ensure a more even heating of the room otherwise you'll find one side will be warm and the other cool for a while.0

Definitely a minimum of 2 radiators. It will also make a difference where you put them in the space, and where the external walls/windows are. Generally you would be looking to put 1 at either end of the space, but may be different if you have leaky single glazed windows for example. And also depends on where you have the wall space to put them.0

With such an open area is there any scope for underfloor heating? since not all the living area may be that close to a wall to feel the heat? where are the likely 'zones' that be using the most? what kind of radiators are you looking at? plain white ones or the older 'ribbed' upright ones where might not look too bad to have more of them?0
