Switch from EDF
I applied to switch away from EDF on 21 March. The cooling off period ended 03/04/2014, both Gas and Electric are due to switch on 29 April, but EDF have already cancelled my account stating I left on 29th March (obviously a typo in their system). My new supplier has checked and the April supply date is correct and the national database apparently still shows EDF suppling my electric. I emailed EDF as couldn't get through over the phone and just got a standard reply stating Electric transferred on 29 March, and Gas will switch shortly etc etc. I have replied and asked them to check again, including looking at the national supply database.
Previously not had a problem with EDF, want to get this sorted ASAP, as don't want descrpancies in final/start bills. Not had any problems with previous switches and am not new to switching. Has this happened to anyone before.
