Missing Charges

Hi

I received a 'Charges Summary' from Nationwide this morning exactly 40days after them cashing the £10 cheque. Funny that... anyway. I routed through old paperwork recently and found about 6 months worth of statements for this account so i checked through them and tallyed up the charges so i had a rough idea of what to expect. On looking through the list Nationwide have provided me i am missing £110 worth of charges (5 items) that appeared on my statements?? I have checked the paper statements i received again and they are definitely not on the list.

Any ideas on what to do?

Cheers

Gavin

Do i report to Information Commissioner? Or write back to Nationwide and ask why the charges are missing, further delaying my case? Or is there another option?

As you haven't received all the information you require within 40 days of them receiving your Subject Access Request, you can refer the matter to the Information Commissioner.

However, his staff are as inundated with complaints as the banks’ and credit card companies’ are with SAR’s. The banks and credit card companies have received so many reprimands that one more doesn't make any difference.

In the meantime, you can always draft your first claim letter so that, when your data does arrive and you've done your sums, all you have to do is fill in the blanks.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
