Problems with £4600 summerhouse

Hi Looking for opinions and advice about the following :
We recently purchased a summerhouse for £4600 which was top of the range and including every extra going including double glazing and fully insulated walls as its going to be used as a study throughout the year. Their usual method of lining a building was using plywood but we wanted tongue and groove for a better finish, it took a couple of calls before they agreed to do this as it was not the norm.
After it was erected i set about fitting electrics and found that at least 2 of the walls had no insulation at all. I phoned to complain and was asked to send photos of the non existent insulation. They offered to send someone to 'try and take some inner planks off and add the insulation' ( simply not practical as all inner cladding was stapled with a nail gun) or we will offer a discount. I asked what discount they would offer and was told £200 which i think is derisory and i was more annoyed that their excuse for the mistake was questionable , they said that someone else had ordered a similar summerhouse and the panels had got mixed up - unlikely taking into account the fact that our request for it being lined with tongue and groove was deemed as being out of the ordinary.
I told them that i expected a refund of at least £500 and they have now offered £400.
I am undecided what to do because i think that taking into account the poor excuse given for the error it might have been a deliberate attempt to deceive.
All opinions and advice welcomed.

Surely you can insulate the 2 walls for £400 with change.0

Take it or leave it? Someone messed up sure, but they've offered to try to resolve the issue, and a nail gun is still just nails at the end of the day.
You could take the £400 and maybe blow some perlite or whatever the modern equivalent is into a smaller hole?0 -
As per the above, get a couple of quotes on how much it would cost to remedy and start from there.Thinking critically since 1996....0
