Problems with Lloyds

I have opted to go with Lloyds as my parachute account so that I can claim from my Barclays account.
I opened the Lloyds account online, took i.d to my nearest branch to confirm my identity then today I recieve 2 letters from Lloyds.

The first one told me I was £2 overdrawn!!!!!!!! I've only just opened the account so whats happened there!!!!!!!

The second letter was my debit card!!!! therefore I'v never even used the account.

Does anyone have any ideas why this maybe?? I'm gonna ring them tonight about it but just thought I'd ask on here first.

They have'nt charged me for being overdrawn which is nice of them (:rotfl: ) but I wanna know why they've took £2 off me. Could it be that I've not put any money into the account yet??

Cheers

A beginning is a delicate time.

I can't wait to hear how they attempt to justify that one! I wouldn't be too sure about the charge until you get your first statement, either.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
