You'll have another 20 people recommend the Octavia and Mondeo estates. I'd chuck the Accord estate on there too, incredible diesel engine.
however what is the car doing the rest of the year you'r not on camping trips? do you need a diesel? do you need a car as big as this? Is it just you and your son?
say it were the 2 of you, and minimal mileage the rest of the year, my missus has a Honda Jazz and it is cavernous inside. The magic seats are incredible (either fold flat into the floor, or the base of the seat folds up leaves a huge gap in the rear footwell).0
