Car Insurance!

Hi all just got a quick question,
I've recently been looking for car insurance on the MoneySuper market app. From doing this my credit rating on experian as dropped by 100 due to me having 38 recent searches on my credit file.
I was just wondering if there is anything I could do to change this? It has annoyed me a little because I've worked really hard to get an excellent rating
Thanks!

It's not important. The score is only seen by you.
And the insurance searches will not been by any lender looking at your file. They're not in the same category as credit searches.0 -

So what purpose do they serve, then?0 -
Identity check, normally.0

So it won't harm any potential loan/credit applications?0

What, for a quote? I always put in bogus (but realistic) data anyway at the quote stage - and I always get the quotes.0 -
Quote searches don't affect credit ratings - only you see them. Only when you proceed with an application does it leave the type of footprint lenders see.

It can be an ID check for if DDs will be offered or not. It can also be a rating factor so impact the price offered.
There will be almost no insurers who wont offer some form of terms even if they dont get a CRA hit.0 -
It was saying on the credit report I that to a potential lender it looks like I've gone a bit credit crazy? Even though they were only comparison quotes and I will pay for the insurance up front...0
