AOL address book problem

Not sure if anyone can help me. I had my email account hijacked on my main computer. Sorted it out by changing passwords and letting people know etc. I decided to delete some email address I don't need anymore so did that. I then went into one of my groups in my address book and nothing was there! Checked other groups and they were all blank too. Then noticed 90% of my address book appears to be missing. OH said they must be on computer somewhere but I can't find them. Has anyone any ideas or have I lost them for good ? I have looked in recycle bin but not in there. Confused.com !
