Hello everyone
Im looking for a cheapest option to upgrade my lappy (samsung np550p7c) from win7 64bit to win 8/8.1......
Is there any option to get it cheaper than normal price?? (now appx 100GBP) .... I know there is a student offer, but unfortunatelly I left school years ago, so it doesnt apply for me
Thanks in advance
Adrian

you can d/load the evaluation copy and run it for 90 days , but you cannot upgrade it to full or to win 8.1 , if you want to try it to check your machine , shout back and I will link you to the d/load , might only be 32 bit tho ,0

I'm surprised nobody has asked why you want to upgrade from 7 -> 8. I don't know anybody that has.looking for a best deal for me ATM....either upgrade or buy new win 8 64bit disc....
However, if you have a spare £50 (ish) and some spare time try this for win8Pro upgrade

£53 buy it now but try a £40 offer.
Then upgrade to 8.1 via the store (free but is a large upgrade).0 -

Small circle of friends?;) Lots of people have upgraded from W7 to W8 then W8.1. We did two machines in our house and three more for others. Most of the users I know upgraded as opposed to buying new machines.grumpycrab wrote: »I'm surprised nobody has asked why you want to upgrade from 7 -> 8. I don't know anybody that has.
