Oh dear. Back to square one.
I can manage without a printer for a while whilst I make my mind up. The new toner things seem very expensive for the Samsung m2022 seem very expensive......
Many thanks for everyone's opinion. It does help to see what other think.0 -
When my old HP ran low on toner an official HP toner cartridge was something absurd like £130. I bought a replacement (same capacity) for £19! It has been fine. You do have to do some research but a toner cartridge will last a long time.0

Correct, but, the last Canon printer I owned, that died because the Print head dried out and couldn't be unclogged (Yes, tried all the methods), would have cost £70 for a new Print head (this was about 3 years ago). Since then using HP for the same amount of printing. I've never had one dry up so much it didn't clean itself clear. That includes using generic cartridges that cost less than the standards.Pinkypants wrote: »But surely the ink cartridges cost more then the no Head types?
So every time you replace the HP you are replacing the Ink Head.
