Scared to claim - don't want flatmates or landlord to find out

Thanks again to everyone for their advice and help.

I've decided I have to claim - my money's running out so I don't have any other options for now.
Does anyone know if the DWP would be willing to send me the claim form for me to fill in? I know I could just call and ask them but I'd rather not risk them saying no and trying to get me to do it immediately over the phone. Just be good to know before calling.
I understand from people here that it would be better to fill it in myself rather than have them do it over the phone. I think I'd prefer that too because I know exactly how to describe my health issues.
Unfortunately my printer's not working! I could go to the library to print the form - but's it's a lot to print (and I'm embarrassed and don't want the library staff to see what I'm printing - I know that's silly but I can't help it).0 -
they only have to ask :rotfl: OH works full time so income based would be a waste of time. I'm on CB ESA and have been placed in Support Group anyway so there's been no further questions. When I first claimed some idiot woman at the DWP first told me that despite having worked full time for the NHS and paid correct contributions for 6 years I wasn't entitled to ESA and then because I claim Carer's Allowance (I don't as OH is only on LRC DLA) it would come off my ESA..
We've had them DEMAND that we fill in the forms for income based ESA, we know we are not entitled to income based but we are both entitled to contributions based ESA since we both worked fulltime until the day we became disabled, we are both in the support group.0
