I never have fruit as I can't find anything that does not give me terrible tummy ache. I usually have salad on the side with tea during the summer, so this would count as 1 portion. Sometimes I have dried apricots so another portion. In the winter I have a portion of veggies.

We get a hot dinner at work. So I estimate between 1 and 3 portion of veg / salad a day.

    Over 10 a day but then I'm a vegetarian!

Not all vegetarians eat a lot of veggies. We had a veggie relative to stay who was surprised at how much vegetables and fruit we eat. By the time she'd taken the cereal, bread, rice and grains out of her diet, the amount of veggies she ate was pitiful.

It depends what constitutes a "portion".

    Today:
Half a wine glass of grapefruit juice for breakfast.
4 slices of cucumber atop cheese on toast for lunch, plus 1 small banana,
Dins (which has just gone in the oven) is veggie Shepherd Spy made with soya mince and containing onion, peas and carrots; but probably not enough to constitute a portion between them per helping, let alone a portion of each!
Pud tonight, if I can manage to eat it, is a small slice of cherry pie.

So I don't know.... Grapefruit juice say 0.5; cucumber, say 0.5, 'nana = 1, veggies in the Shepherd Spy call it equivalent of 1 portion per helping; cherry pie say 0.5

So.... 3.5 portions, but I'm probably being a tad optimistic because I eat such tiny helpings of food.

    Btw, I'm vegetarian, also.

Where fruit is concerned everyday I have a banana with my breakfast, then during the day I either eat a pear, apple or clementine, sometimes I will eat two of three.

My lunch at school is normally a salad with a small amount of meat or fish, it always has tomatoes, pepper, radish, lettuce, cucumber, onion, spinach and finely sliced carrot.

Unless our evening meal doesn't suit, e.g. a roast we always have a salad with our evening meal, we always have at least four different fresh vegetables with our evening meal before we add the salad. We normally have a pudding of soya yoghurt and fruit (normally berries or peaches), but sometimes we have banana's in custard as a treat.

Probably 6 or 7 but during the Summer when the garden is overflowing with fruit & veg that could go up to 15 or more.

I've just weighed tomorrow's lunch to find out how many portions it is. It's 580g, so 7 and a quarter for lunch alone.

It's roast red pepper, onion, tomatoes, courgette, broccoli, mushrooms and half a tin of white kidney beans, with fennel seeds, lemon juice and a bit of balsamic.

It's the other half of what I made for tonight's dinner, except that I had an egg on top of it this evening. Today's lunch was only 2, and I've had a couple of satsumas so that's 10.

I won't count the raisins in the hot cross buns I also ate today ;)
