i have very poor credit 7 years ago then i left the country and now I want return to UK.

i wonder what my credit record would like, i used the trust onlinr checked no CCJ agaist me in my previous address i rented.

but i can run a credit check on myself due to i have UK address.

anyone would have rough idea on what my credit file likes and can i have a fresh start when i return and i will live in a different county.

When you say poor credit did you leave the country with unpaid debts? or did you have missed payments etc but continued to pay off your debts once abroad?

It is possible that your credit report may show nothing at all now.

It is also possible that it could show some late entered defaults from creditors / debt collectors. If these were incorrectly entered very late then it may well be possible to challenge these entries.

Which county you live is makes no difference to your credit file.

If it is possible that creditors obtained CCJs/court orders against you more than 6years ago then you would still legally be liable to repay these debts.

i had few bills unpaid like tmobile and a broadband with bulldog.

also a logistic company.

some were older then 8-9 years.
but i checked my name no CCJ agaist me on Trust Online.

Anyway i can check my credit report?

and when i back to UK and apply for bank accounts and other things do i have to disclose all my history those were 7 years ago?

I believe it is possible to check your credit file from abroad if you can supply proof/evidence of your previous address and link it to your current overseas address (I think they are pretty strict on that proof though for obvious reasons).

It depends on what questions they ask you when you make an application.
