Bank Charge reclaims revival?

Options
I know this subject was put on the back burner a few years ago, but with the recent PPi and CPP successes, is there any chance this will be revived? I had a claim in for a substantial amount when the charge reclaim process was stopped, and since then I've been through BR and ED. I'm still pretty bitter about the charges,(up to £90 a week over 3 years) and don't think the bank should get away with this!

What's this got to do with credit cards?

If you do get any money back, perhaps you'll consider passing it onto your creditors you welched on who are probabaly feeling pretty bitter too

The banks won in the Supreme Court, so claims for refunds of historical bank charges are dead in the water. (You might be able to claim for current charges on hardship grounds.)

Even if you could claim and those charges had occurred prior to your bankruptcy, they would not go to you but would belong to the OR.

Wouldn't the same be true for the CPP refund the OP claims to have received today?

Thanks for the replies. I accidentally posted in the wrong forum. I don't care who any reclaim goes to, I just don't think the banks should have it if it is proved to be unjust. And yes, I will be contacting the OR about my CPP payment today.
