Halifax MPPI reclaim

Hi

I sent off a claim for missold MPPI to the Halifax a little over two weeks ago. Does anyone know how long on average they're taking to deal with claims at the moment? I know from reading back on this forum that there was a time they were automatically paying out but that doesn't seem to be the case now.

Does anyone know how long on average they're taking to deal with claims at the moment?

For small amount, Halifax tend to auto payout on the MPPI element of their TMPP plan. That tends to be within 8-12 weeks. For larger amounts they take longer.

If the TMPP contains multiple segments and isnt just MPPI then it will take longer too (typically resulting in the complaint being rejected on the other segments).

Update: we received an offer from the Halifax today of just under £2k. I spoke to someone on the phone two weeks ago who asked some questions about our claim.
