    Morning :)

    Beautiful day here again :D
My parents and niece and nephew are coming down today for a visit :D
I've got to go a DIY store to get a refund on some turf we laid. It was covered in soil from where it was rolled in on itself so couldn't tell but after a good water half of it is dead  some of the pieces were actually steaming hot. I know hay bales can combust and get scorching hot but turf?!
Hubby's car should also be ready to collect today so I can have my new wheels back :T
Not sure about dinner as I will be feeding parents and cousins.

Hugs and spoons all round x

    Morning All :hello:
It's sunny again here today and a little windy. Wish I had been on the ball and put some washing in as perfect drying conditions, alas I am now at work until 5pm so I will have to remember tonight/tomorrow!!
Popping to see my mum & dad after work for a cuppa as mum is a nurse doing shifts and my dad works 4 days on 4 days off again at the moment so trying to catch them is a nightmare!
Me and OH did see them for 15mins yesterday at the allotment but we had finished as they came and had other jobs to do at home so just had a quick catch up.
Last night's chicken dinner was yummy, OH said it was just the right portion size too and the apple crumble was really nice :j
Tonight I am making a chicken & bacon pie with the leftovers and we will have some chips with it.

I have managed to catch up on what I missed Saturday afternoon. Silly that I have more spare time when I am at work than when I am doing my work at home!!

Hope both Jackie O and Molly are recovering well, sending both well wishes.
Moorhen have a lovely day prom dress shopping :) I still have mine from when I left at 16 (7 years ago).
With the easter weekend approaching me and OH are planning to clean and de-clutter/tidy the office at the garage as we both like things clean and tidy and there is stuff everywhere. Not sure how glad his mum & dad will be - although I am sure they will apperciate it :D

Have a lovely day everyone, I wil pop back later to catch up.
    Happy Monday :j
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

    Morning all,
Belated Birthday wishes for yesterday busiscoming sorry I missed it.
moorhen good luck with the prom dress shopping, when my DD went to hers everybody seemed to have black, my daughter who has always been very different and has her own style picked a white fitted dress from Topshop. Cost me £50 including shoes and accessories:D
JackieO and Molly hope the recuperation is going well.

I've had a lazy morning as the weekend was busy as usual. I had a horrible dream last night and woke up panting and shaking, scared me to death.
The house is clean and tidy and washing all done. Hubby has finished the cladding. He will be doing the ceiling later and renewing the spotlights. snoozer I'm very similar to you as hubby can turn his hand to anything. I'm very lucky, I don't know how I would manage if he couldn't, I love changing things and decorating. We almost always have a project on the go, either in the house or the garden.
I'm planning a quick shower and then a potter around the charity shops. Dd is back for tea so kneed to have a freezer surf and come up with something.
Looking forward to Game of Thrones later.
    Have a great Monday xx

Happy Belated Birthday busiscoming; sorry I'm late, I'd signed off before you posted yesterday.:o

Meanmarie gentle (((HUG))) yes it is hard coming to terms with being slower at tasks, and not being able to do things you used to. I'm a fan of gadgets to make life easier; and if there's a specific task you're scratching your head over how to do with the "squeakies" as I call 'em, run it past me, I may have a solution; I've had a lot of practise at finding non-standard methods of doing things to spare my joints.:o

The Princesses have been out for walkies, had some brekkie, and are now sprawled out, one o the carpet, and one on the sofa. It's a dog's life!!:D They're here for another week!:T

I put on a wash at stupid o'clock this morning, as I wanted it done in time for Mr LW to hang it out before he went to work; it included three pairs of his jeans, and they are heavy to lift up to the line, so it's good if he does it.:o

I made carrot'n'orange cake yesterday, used up the last of the prepared carrot and orange I had in the freezer, It's another of those "do it in advance to spare the joints and save work" things; I get a big bag of carrots from the market for £1, buy 4 oranges for £1, and use the food processor to prepare 4 lots of carrot and orange, which I freeze in little tubs.:o It means less work when I want to make a carrot'n'orange cake, and I only have to wash the food processor utensils once for 4 cakes.:D There's always more carrots in the bag (I did say they sell BIG bags), so there's plenty to use for dinners as well.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Lovely day here again even though it is chilly in the wind. I have done four loads of washing and that was before 10.30am, got up at 6am because I heard DH and DD moving about and even though DH told me to go back to sleep, I couldn't so I got up and got things done.
I had podiatry clinic at 10.20am and got told off because DH has not been creaming my feet or legs, so he has orders to do it twice a day. I have to go back in the usual six weeks.
When I got home DS had weeded the back and front gardens and dug over the raised beds and added more topsoil and compost so it is ready for when the seedlings are.
DH and DS are out washing the car at the moment and they are like a pair of schoolboys, throwing wet sponges about :rotfl::rotfl:

Healing vibes for JackieO and Molly xxxx

    Afternoon all,

Thanks for the belated bday wishes :)

LW - That's a good carrot and oranges idea, I might try that. do you use from frozen?

Moorhen - Hope you found a prom dress.

Done quite a bit today: cleaned through first thing, two lots of washing out and now in and ironed. Been to Maidstone to have a look for some new flip flops but couldn't see any I liked :( Am going to sort out my underwear drawer in a little while. Don't know about you but I have a messy knicker drawer and am bad at chucking old ones away!

Chicken for dinner probably with spuds, veg and gravy.

Off to yoga tonight. Enjoy the rest of the evening.

    Evening all,

Been a nice day here, went to Aldi and picked up a few things we needed.

Thanks for your kind words LW, I really need to push myself as after a while sitting is just as uncomfortable as standing or walking!

We had mackerel with stir fried vegetables, mixed salad, fried potatoes, followed by mango and ice cream for dinner.

Need to go visit an old neighbour tomorrow, he has the early stages of dementia so not sure that he will know me, he lives with his daughter so hope that she will manage the visit so that it goes well.

Enjoy the rest of the evening
