Faster payments, where's my money gone?

I've had the exact same thing happen with Santander.
Processed £1 as test payment, then followed with a larger transfer. The test went immediately. The large transfer didn't appear to go through though had definitely left my account.
Overnight I then saw it appear as rejected, and then go through successfully, so it effectively re-credited my account (and adjusted the balance accordingly), then left again.
The transfer then successfully appeared the next morning.
Quirk of their fraud checking process I think.0 -

Yes, this recent thread also reported the same thing with transferring funds from Santander: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4933293
Santander, the home of hokey-cokey banking: in-out-in-out-shake it all about!0 -
Scameras like to test accounts with small payments, before hitting the account with a large one.
The £1 followed by £1500 would raise a flag or seven IMHO0 -
So, my husband made a FP to me over two hours ago for £1,500. Still no sign of it in my bank. He then sent another payment of 1p just to make sure there were no issues with the system, and it's cleared immediately.
So, does anyone have any idea where the £1,500 could be hiding?
I just checked my account, and I definitely don't have it.
