As others have said your DLA will be unaffected. You said you're not claiming any other benefits.
But do you have a partner who is claiming an income related benefit - income related jobseekers allowance, income support or income related employment and support allowance, housing benefit or council tax reduction ? If so, that would be a potential problem. Otherwise, no worries.0 -

Many thanks to all who replied to my posting.
In the post this morning, my brother received a letter from the DLA, stating, in answer to the questions, that it will NOT make any difference to my benefits and that I will NOT be required to notify them of the situation.
I feel much more comfortable about this now that I have an official response, in writing from them, which we can now keep on file.
