Bath & Shower installation

I need an old open-ended/sided bath and wall fixed mixer shower ripping out, replaced with a single-end bath & sides, glass shower screen and electric shower installation.

The bath (inc sides, fixings, waste), electric shower and shower screen have already been purchased, and the electrics have already been wired all the way up to the bathroom so its pretty much entirely labour apart from building the frame for the bath and the plumbing.

Any ideas on ballpark cost before I start getting quotes?

We just had the entire bathroom gutted, refitted, tiled and floor put down for about £1800. This also included the building of a stud wall behind the bath.

Not sure if that helps as it doesn't sound like you are needed that much done. I know a fantastic bathroom guy if you would like his details? Before and after shots so you can see what he did. Not sure if I'm allowed to post his number, but let me know if you would like it.

Bit of a joke getting quotes for this as most plumbers I've tried are tied up for months and months, but the one quote I did get was £490 (£588 inc vat) - not sure how that matches south west market rates but I figure its a days work, so £60-£70/hr?
