Mantis clear coat scratch repair.

One of the disadvantages of owning a dark colour metallic finish is that the small scratches in the gel coat do stand out when in the sun. I've had one in particular that I have tried to polish out several times without success.
Last week in Sainsbury's I noticed the Mantis scratch repair pen and thought "give it a try" It's a clear liquid in a what looks like a felt tip pen, but it worked , looking from all directions and in all lights I cannot see where that scratch was .
This is not SPAM, I have no pecuniary interest in marketing the product and normally steer clear of magic remedies but believe me this works. It is only for gel coat scratches though, no good if scratch is into base coat. A lot of people reviewing on Amazon seem to have missed the point and thought it would remove deep scratches.
One point, I did find that to prime the pen took quite a long time pressing and working it on a bit of card before the wick was charged.
