I've had a 5 year index linked certificate since May 2011 which I check monthly.
Up until now I have had no real problem with the NS&I calculator.
However, this month although RPI increased the projected value of my certificate decreased substantially.
Previously, as one would expect, the value had only fallen because RPI had fallen.
    Any ideas???
The calculator does not give any forward projection. It estimates the current value you would get if you encashed that day.

I raised this in the other thread. I think there must be an error in the NS&I calculator (either relating to this months valuation or previous months). One tranche of mine has apparently decreased below its maturity value, which is also not supposed to happen.
