Mystery Shopping Tax Question

not been on for a while! I started doing Mystery Shopping last September and in total earnt £273, I'm registered with Tax and really need to get my tax return sorted but don't understand how I do it, I've read and re-read the guidence notes but don't have a clue!
Also I didn't keep all my receipts but have the figures written down of what I spent!
anyone got any tips or help for me!
I've got a word doc saved with the job date, company, fee, reimbursements, payment date and milage costs.

Post your accurate return, why didnt you keep the receipts ? Does your mystery shopper company have them or copies of them ? Likelihood is you are too insignificant for IR to bother you, however you should keep receipts for seven years. There is a very long thread at the top of the page on mystery shopping, the shoppers in their probably could give more specific advice than here.Competition wins. 2 festival camping tickets worth 310, case of grants whisky 74. :beer:

how do you get into mystery shopping?

Hi Leni,
Don't worry too much about the missing receipts. I would still include them on my tax return, and in all likelihood if the tax man ever queries it, providing they seem reasonable, you should be fine.
