Received letter yesterday saying they are going to pay me £3500, original claim was for £5500 inc. interest and court fees. I am going to accept the £3500 as it is more than i thought i would ever get and also was not looking forward to the next steps of court process!!
HSBC solicitor defended whole amount so was surprised to get an offer at this stage. HMCS yesterday have refered claim to a local court so i am assuming i will hear from them in due course, but how do i go about stopping the claim once the money has been paid to me?
