Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara.

I am changeable as I have fussy skin and get bored easily, this is my current routine
Cleanser - Boots essentials (blue)
Toner - Boots essentials (blue)
Eye make up remover pads - Boots essentials (blue)
Moisturiser (evening) alternating between Olay serum and Aveeno anti aging
Mosituriser (morning and under make up) Snake Venom and EL Spotlight
Foundation - a combination of EL DW and MAC pro full coverage
Powder/bronzer - EL DW or MUA (all matte)
Blusher - Something special MAC or MAC peach pigment depending on the look I'm after
Lips - combination of MAC Crème cup, Body shop beech lip liner and No 17 Beehive
Eyebrows - No 17 pencil
Mascara - combination of Loreal lengthing and Miss Manga, I always use eyelash curlers too
Eyeliner - if I'm in the mood, either white or black Rimmel waterproof, I only ever tightline and if using white I blend a lot.
On a bigger scale, I have regular chemical peels, Botox and fillers as needed, this stops me needing to spend big bucks on skincare
I would love to hear if anyone has found a non irritating, non greasy high spf for the face that wont make my make up slide off or give me bumps/spots0 -

Simple do one - it's labelled 'kind to skin + protecting moisture cream' - it's SPF30 UVA/UVB. Doesn't smell and non greasy - wasn't that expensive either.
Ambre Solair also do a 'face' one at factor 30 but it does have that suncream smell to it.0 -
I use Simple foaming face wash, followed by a nuetrogena moisturiser (that has spf 25 in it, the sun is not my friend!). I also have a nuetrogena night cream but have to admit that I'm rubbish about using it. I use clinique 7 day scrub a couple of times a week, and once in a while if I have a bit of a bad skin day I'll use the clinique emergency mask which works wonders.
I need to find a new moisturiser because the one I've been using seems to have been discontinued. I stocked up when they were being cleared out a while ago but I'm down to my last two bottles now...
As far as make-up goes, I don't wear it very often. I'm quite lucky that my skin is not bad so I don't really need to and I've never really liked the feel of make-up. Most days I don't wear anything at all, once in a while I'll wear eye liner and mascara, and on special occasions I'll wear foundation/eye shadow/liner and mascara. I only use clinique make-up - anything else tends to disagree with my skin so I don't risk it.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

(I have sensitive, type 2 (according to dermatologist) skin, I'm in my late 40's so it has changed over the past couple of years to the point that I felt I'd better start a routine having neglected having for a few years):
Wash face with tepid water using palms of hands
Pat dry with towel
Apply Simple Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream
Apply Simple Anti-wrinkle Day Cream or Simple SPF 30 Moisture Cream
A Factor 30 Sun Screen Stick to top up on my nose during the day (as my sunglasses/glasses sometimes shift the sunscreen)
Night time
Wash face with tepid water
Apply Simple Anti-wrinkle Night Cream
Simple Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream
Make up (I used to wear make up every day even just to go to the shops - when I went for a night out I used to set aside 3 hours to get ready!!!!! Now I only wear make up it if I am going out and it doesn't take so long as I use less of it and no longer wear eyeshadow - below is what I'm using at moment.
Maybelline Age Erase Foundation (discontinued now)
Rimmel powder
Arch Angelz Brow Palette Brow Powder (have just started using this and can highly recommend using powder instead of or as well as eyebrow pencil
YSL lipstick
Dark brown kohl eyeliner
Cats Eyes Mascara (can't remember the make but it's in a yellow container and has a curved brush)
Barbara Daly blusher0 -
I have mainly dry skin with some greasy areas.
Make up remover pads - Johnsons daily essentials
Clinique anti-blemish solutions clensing foam
Clinique anti-blemish solutions clinical clearing gel
Clinique moisture surge (moisteriser)
Clinique all about eyes (eye cream)
Benefit porefessional (primer)
Benefit Hello flawless oxygen wow (foundation)
Benefit Fake Up (under eye concealer)
Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette (Contouring)
Benefit Rockateur (blush)
Benefit Gimme Brow ('brow volumising gel')
Benefit Browzings (Eyebrow powder)
Urban Decay 24/7 (eyeliner)
Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 (eyeshadow)
Diorshow mascara
I might occasionally wear a lip balm too. I really couldn't wear any lipstick/gloss etc... I hate having things on my lips lol. My lip balm of the moment is maybelline baby lips.. .. I think thats the name?
I guess now I type up the list it is on the more premium side but I have tried a lot of different things out to get to these products. All of these are re-purchases (apart from the anti-blemish... I've just started using these and they are seriously helping) and last me a life time. Plus I buy them all at boots so get some good boots points in!!0 -
Skin care- use tea tree soap to clean face every day and lush ultrb land about 2-3 times a week. The a quick wipe over with tea tree water toner. Also sometimes use una Brennan's cleansing oil. Moisturiser at moment is almond oil mixed with a few drops of lavender. Just use this at night.
Make up - mac studio fix if out , plus studio fix powder and concealer. If not then a bit of benefits tinted moisturiser. Then benefit get real mascara, Lancôme eyeliner, benefit gimme brow (this is amazing!) and bobbi brown creme blush. Vaseline on lips normally or a no 7 nude lipstick.0 -
No7 cleanser if I've been wearing make-up (I don't wear it every day). No7 day cream if I'm wearing make-up that day, night cream if I remember.
If I haven't worn make-up then just soap and water (don't judge me...)No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
I only wear make up if I am going out. I just use plain water on my face and then a moisturiser and a sunscreen through the summer. My favourite moisturiser is Beauty Naturals evening primrose oil moisturiser but I have Nivea at the moment.
Best thing I ever did for my skin was ditching all the cleansing creams and lotions and starting to use plain water. When I stopped using all the lotions and potions my skin cleared up and I get very few spots or dry patches now. I had issues with both before.0
