I coached Mrs Anon on Thursday through the switching conversation with the coop bank (sat next to her feeding the answers ;)) - 15 minutes later and we are on our way to £100 for her and £25 for charity . We have had the coop accounts sitting there for years waiting for another switching bonus :). And even better, used then to close Nationwude as that account already had the required 2xDD and SO to switch (both happen to be to T Savings accounts ;)).

Next stop TSB and changing Santander (do I recall that the 3% is only the first year or did I imagine it?).

    Good luck!

    Anon

Me too, had 4 x NW for the 5% all now sat dormant. Set up 1 x DD and 1 x SO to myself on one of them and switched to Co-op a couple of weeks ago for the £100+£25.

So 3 NW left, one will go to Tesco when they open up their current accounts soon (rumoured to be a reasonable joining incentive) and another will prob go to HFX for another £100.

Santander is permanently 3% (no time limitation) variable.

Sorry to read so much sad news on there today :(

Sadly I'm adding to it. I have another cat, who has lived with my parents since me and my ex split up, as I couldn't have him at my new place. He's about 14-15 years old.

He has lost a lot of weight, very quickly. He is lethargic and has a lump :(

Stupidly on my part, he isn't insured. I could take him to the vet but am pretty sure that he wouldn't be coming home again :(:(

But if I don't take him, and leave nature to take its course, will he suffer? He isn't in pain at the moment, and is currently very content sleeping in the greenhouse :)

I need to make a decision that I don't want to make :cry:
I would say you need to take him to the vet. If he is not in pain, he most likely to be coming home with you.

Big hugs to you QOC. It is a horrible decision to have to make. Could the vet tell you if your cat is in pain then you go from there?

Sorry to read this :(:( it sounds like you think he's very poorly. Maybe a trip to the vet would be best? They'll be able to advise whether he's suffering or not. They're very good at hiding it when they are. Not an easy decision to make, I don't envy you.
On a practical note if you do decide to take him and he's not in obvious pain try and leave it until after the weekend. Out of hours charges are

    I see I have a lot to learn. :D

Maybe it was my fault it had only been in the fridge couple hours as guess what I forgot to put it in. :o

Oh, ignore FC and all her fuss. I sometimes forget and just slap it in the freezer for half an hour or so, then pull it out, put it on the bench, and it opens fine. The only time I waste any is when I manage to smash the glass :o

My wine shop. Shouldn't have got the coffees in retrospect (aside from the fact I like them) but I was worried that after 25% off I wouldn't reach £40. Still, this is my first big shop like this so I'm pleased. £53.75 became £43.46 after wine discount. Minus HH and a whiskas PP plus a handful of coupons.

Paid £27 and got my £10 capped PP :D

    Possible Alert!

Just noticed that Extra Special Salmon En Crute at Sada are £4 instore, and MSM say £2 at Mr.T.

Could be a very good comparison if it works! I did a test purchase...results in 3 hours.

Could also be a possible .com/C&C glitch because online it says £5 but instore it's definitely £4.

The only snag is, MSM says the £2 Mr.T price ends 27 Apr 14 (tomorrow).

    Keep your fingers crossed.
