On the subject of apg in @.. I was told recently by a sa that they weren't allowed to use them on their shops, don't know how true that is but it's a sa that doesn't seem to be a trout
Rubbish. They can and do
Never trust that an SA is well trained on their own company procedures :rotfl:
I had to explain the nectar double up to an SA in sains today :wall:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
An alternative strategy for 3v (generating the 150cc bonus for £50) occurred to me earlier but not for the faint hearted. From reading 3v website, you can merge cards but it costs £1.75 each, maximum £1000 on a card. You can withdraw to a bank account at a cost of £3.50. My strategy is therefore use HH to bring cost of card down to £45 - use the £5s saved to pay for the £1.75 merge fees/£3.50 cash out. It would need thinking through in terms of how many cards/HH would break even/keep you in profit, but the aim for me has always been to get the cc bonus and more recently helping me towards an Amex intro offer target spend.
Only worth doing if HH involved to cover the transaction costs. Caution required as checkout operator may reject HH with Giftcards, need to generate the HH to start with, potential caps on CC and 3v, T&Cs not fully checked, buyer beware!
Also just wondering out loud but could you load more than £50 on the card in T ...

Agreed! back to the comments about APG receipts. I have asked a staff member who is known to me what the official line/training is on it and she said their training says they should mark the receipt and return it.
Makes sense to me and I've never had an SA argue otherwise.0 -

The only time SAs ask me if i want them back is if they dont have a pen to hand.
They dont have any ulterior motive for keeping it, they just cant be bothered to find a pen to mark it as used :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
