    Postie has just delivered 6 x £6 off wys £30 vouchers:T

    Couldn't have come at a better time:T

    For sainsburys I should add

I was just coming on to post something about Sainsburys, after receiving a nice gift card from them in the post today :D

I got some £12 off £60 the other week. I wasn't going to use them so DS1 took one and was going to buy 4 bottles of Bacardi because they were £15. They no longer count spirits as part of your spend for these discounts :( The vouchers do have it printed on, but I hadn't noticed. At that time they hadn't incorporated into their T&C that it was now an exclusion.

I queried it with them and it seems that they have totally mis-interpreted the new legislation that came in on 6th April.

Their reply to me after much to-ing and fro-ing was that because of the new legislation (that the alcohol can't be sold at any less than the price of alchol duty + VAT) conditional spends would (not could) make the price of spirits below that level and therefore illegal to sell.

I replied to them that the duty on alcohol refers to PURE alcohol, not the cost of what was in the bottle itself. So they were calculating the permitted price wrong.

Anyway Ive had a letter from their head office this morning which to all intents and purposes says....yes you are correct but we won't be changing our policy, have a £50 GC for your troubles :D

I don't even drink spirits! :rotfl::rotfl: I just got a bee in my bonnet about it :o

The store my Dad took me to had a really poor selection  so no doubt one of my kids sulks because I didn't get toffee hoops :rotfl:
I paid with a womble so not too upset if it fails :)

Hoops are a big hit in my house as well and they are handy for the packed lunch:cool:

I hope so. No doubt they are well aware of it and that it's being abused. Didn't someone mention yesterday they had an APG with subs showing?

    Good Morning :)

They signed off with "just joking"

That either referred to compaining to A or to the whole post.

    Not sure

 are you buying for the village TM
What do you do with it all, you can not eat it yourself ;)

Funnily enough....I've just had this conversation with mr TM:)

Yes I am now at the point where I am saturated :rotfl:
However I have PP's from the cat food glitch, e vouchers on A c and c, over £50 in wombles and now the possibility, with the nectar double up, of free stuff from S over the next few weeks. Greenredeem vouchers sat in my purse.
Freezers, store cupboard and stashes overflowing with much off loaded to foodbanks too:T

I have come to the conclusion that I need to diversify out of food and start looking at the non food sections in A and T....hmmmm now what do I need:)
