    I have a confession to make :o

I don't have a barcode scanner on my phone. The old phone was not a lot of cop, but DS1 has handed down his Nexus:j:j, so I have a decent smartphone. Which is the best scanner app please? There are so many in the play store, and I don't know which one to choose.
    Can anyone recommend one please?
    TIA

:rotfl: she has entered not me. :p and she qualified by doing her very 1st target shop with me talking her through it on my mobile. I was proud of her as she used to run out the store when im doing one. (twas the belvita glitch). have you got a pic ready yet?

Nope, I think fc and yourself are peaking too early, I have only just planted my rather special seeds this week :D

Anyone else been on benefits here? I've been on benefits twice in my life. First time when I came out of uni and couldn't get a job and then early last year before I found this thread. I gave a portion of this allowance (I was getting around £35 a week) to my parents to help with household bills.

I have an iPad, a Samsung phone, nice clothes. Things I bought when I had work. I probably got a fair few raised eyebrows at the job centre for not looking how someone on benefits should look. But the truth of the matter was, I was bad with money. I didn't have any savings to fall back on once I was without work. So the little bit of job seekers allowance I got (after paying in taxes for years) I used to pay bills and give money to my parents.

I do think that money management should be taught in school. I'm just fortunate that I live in a country where you can get help if you need it. I hope I never to have to sign on again but you never know what life will throw at you.

I've enjoyed reading everyone's stories today. And when I think back to those times I'm even gladder I found you all :)

As has been confirmed earlier, the Frubes Ltd. Ed. also compare the same (£4 vs £2) vs T. The Robinsons at £1.49 compare vs T at £1.25 each (2 for £2.50) when two are bought.

    Cucumber is also same - 50p vs 49p - vs T.

For those who like expensive bread:(, the Kingsmill Tasty Thick Wholemeal is vs £1 for Sains.

The Capri Suns compare at the same prices for T and M, not that I would ever compare vs £2! M's appears not to be an mbuy whereas vs T requires buying in twos.

Salted Butter 98p vs 98p T or S. And, as you know, loose bananas compare vs T.:)
