Love to all xxx
I know what you mean - I have cupboards still geared to meals for 3 or 4 and there is only two of us! Kids won't take the stuff, neighbours won't, having to make up meals for 4 and freeze the other half! Desperately trying to change the cupboards over so we can eat what WE want rather than what the kids/boyfriend used to eat and it is going to take ages. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I just saw this on fb, daily fail reporter tells lies to obtain foodbank vouchers, what depths will the daily fail stoop to to kick people when they're down an in need? https://m.facebook.com/billybraggofficial/photos/a.249499147470.158205.44905697470/10151977216062471/?type=1&source=46
My Dad told me about this late last night. Disgusted. What good does this kind of 'journalism' do? Make us think of all poor people as scroungers? Not give to food banks? I just don't understand what the aim of this is.
I'm increasing my donations *sticks middle finger up at manipulative Daily Fail*Debt free 6th December 2014

Thank you Dr Doolittle for your early shop.
Just a few tips for anyone new buying the squash today.
Make sure the SA puts each bottle through individually.
Don't buy more than 10 of one flavour
Separate your shops to avoid a large APG
There are 6 flavours of squash in my local. Put one of each of the different flavours in your trolley first before topping up with the total quantity you want to buy. The labels look similar on some of them and this might prevent endless recounting as you are getting the rest of your shop.
And finally thanks savvy for the Bertolli mention. Comparing £1.90 to 90p in this S shop:T:T

I'm no fan of the DM, but it just goes to show that there are scum out there who are happy to deceive charities and 'steal' from those in need. It's no good hiding these things away thinking it can't/won't/doesn't happen, because it does.
Some people are clever enough to avoid detection by playing on emotion just as those are who defraud public services out of millions each year with false benefit claims.
Yes it's sensationalism, a non-story and it may well mean tighter checks on people claiming so some will miss out, but what it will do is strengthen their procedures which can ultimately only benefit MORE of those who really need those services and keep the chancers away.
I'll still continue to donate my unwanted fillers in the hope they end up where they should !0
