    :hello: FF.

Happy Easter to all. Even the sun has decided to come out.:T

What was going to be a fairly quiet weekend, didn't work out that way. DD1, her DH and DGS decided to visit on Friday for the weekend.:T It seemed rude not to invite her MiL and FiL as they would have been on their own. They came on Friday as we'll but got a local b&b for the couple of nights. Then some friends from hornetgirls' and neosis' town bought their DS back to the nearby theological college on Saturday, so the three of them popped in to say 'Hi' and ended up staying for a BBQ. Thoroughly enjoyable evening with lots of chat and wine flowing.

Will now have a quiet evening now that all have departed.

    Debt-free and Proud!
I watched that. I couldn't believe bailiffs have the power to stop cars and get money off people or tow their cars away for not paying parking tickets, they even had police with them.
Surely the police should not there making sure the bailiffs get paid as parking tickets aren't a criminal offence.

It's staggering isn't it? I think they were acting on behalf of the council in those cases though, not private firms? I don't really know very much about how it works to be honest.

I do remember whilst I was writing a blurb for the 'talent agency' website hearing my boss yelling down the phone at a woman who had the audacity to appeal her ticket. The language he used....but then again he liked to do that, yell at women. Sure this programme won't go into that though!

Weather in Manchester has been chilly; dry with occasional sunny spells today.

Winds of up to 10mph (from SW direction).

Tonight: dry and it's gonna be dark.

I should be a weather girl.
