We kept our ducks in with our hens. In fact out little Banty hens actually hatched our duck eggs for us lol.

I'd love to hatch more of our own hens. It was a fab experience, but it broke my heart having to re-home the cockerel. I couldn't do that again :(

I think football is 1 = 1. I hope so anyway because I only have about 455 in that. :(

our silkies hatch our duck eggs , its so sweet when the ducks go in the water but the hen keeps calling them away, then the ducks grow a lot faster than chicks and the little hens are trying to cover them all at night and the ducks are as big as her:D

They do grow really fast. If you blink you miss it lol

We had a pair of little Banty hens and they took turns sitting on a batch of 3 duck eggs. They struggled to cover all 3eggs as the eggs were quite big. However they were very dedicated and all 3 successfully hatched :)

Our big tesco only shuts one full day a year now , that's it.and there was talk of them opening xmas day. They reduce hours a wee bit over xmas period. Not sure why we are such a nation of consumers.

Not sure why I said if Easter is on a sunday. :o Think the sherry before dinner and the prosecco during and after might have had something to do with it. :o

I always forget shops shut early on a sunday, often think I will just pop in and then realise it's gone 4pm. And I'm old enough to remember when no shops were open on a sunday. ;)
