Our big tesco only shuts one full day a year now , that's it.and there was talk of them opening xmas day. They reduce hours a wee bit over xmas period. Not sure why we are such a nation of consumers.

I remember in the 90's when nothing opened on a Sunday. The towns were lovely and quiet, but I suppose times have moved on.

Our chickens and ducks are all together and quite happy

Thank you :) Oh I don't think I'll be able to stop myself now. The place I usually get my hens from have some and they are just adoreable.
I might tell my OH now whilst he's engrossed in the footy and then he won't know what he's agreeing to :D

I thought the points were worth 1p if used on travel but less if used on something else, which they keep changing I notice :(

For every 5 points from the game that is equal to 1p in RSH points. RSH did run it 1 points for every 1 points of RSH points. However, once they had given everyone £15-£20 last year they have changed it to try and save money. :( Sorry for any confusion. You should still come out with about £15 though. :)

I think we are in for more promotions of the same like the EH one. I think RSH have got wise to people redeeming hundreds of pounds worth like they did on 10 ways with the January 2013 offer from the Sun where accounts appeared with hundreds of pounds in them. I think they are starting to target certain groups rather than having the usual free for all. MSE must be due for one soon. :)

I think every company learns once they been 10 wayed !!! We try to do it stealthy, little and often :rotfl:

We kept our ducks in with our hens. In fact out little Banty hens actually hatched our duck eggs for us lol.

our silkies hatch our duck eggs , its so sweet when the ducks go in the water but the hen keeps calling them away, then the ducks grow a lot faster than chicks and the little hens are trying to cover them all at night and the ducks are as big as her:D

i love the indian runners they are so comical.. we have ducks with our hens have had for years and never had any problems , at the barn they share the same house but are all loose during the day the only problem we had was the ducks sleeping under the hens and getting pooped on. so we put a big wooden box in with a top so they sleep in that some of the hens even sleep with them when its cold:p
at home we have minature ducks in the orchard with the silkies and they to are happy together,

Thanks Rhos, my OH has just grunted......I'm taking that as a yes! :rotfl::rotfl: I think I will go and get 2 this week :j

TBH it was the suns problem because someone had not coded the system to bring the same code up again. They did not learn though 12 months on when it did the same. However, the codes were validation this time.

Our ducks were Cayuga. They were beetle green and made lovely little pets. No problems living with chucks.
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.
