I mentioned Mum yesterday and it all kicked off today. My Mum has been in hospital 4 weeks and was due home tommorow but due to the hospital leaving it to me to contact care agency with 48 hours notice it all fell to bits. Apparently they should have gone through Adult Social Care who had to send a form to care agency and as Mum needs reassessing they are coming Tuesday to do it when she gets back.
So this morning my younger brother called me at 9.00 to ask what was happening and I said they rung at 8 to say it was Tuesday and he kicked off. He said could we not look after her this weekend ( i.e. him, other brother, sis and me but in reality me) and I said no she has to have her care package in place. Also they have delivered a hospital bed today as she has difficulty getting in and out of bed now and has to stay in bed all night ( no need to go into details). He then started going on about what I was doing this weekend as Mum allocates her attendance Allowance to me ( in addition to my carers allowance) and I still get it even if she is away. I told him if he wants to take over go ahead and the money thing is between Mum and me. In the end I put down the phone called older brother who agrees she needs to come back Tuesday and got on with my day.
Starting new job on 29th so I will not be getting money from state or Mum any more but by default I will be doing less. Seriously thinking about a full time carer now and Social are sending someone to assess her as her care is funded so we can then use that budget plus the Attendance Allowance to pay someone else.
Anyway back to glitching , got 18 toilet rolls so far yesterday and today and a PP for £7.08 for the cat food ( dont have a cat but when has that stopped any of us!!!!

Does anyone know how to cook these chappatti things without them sticking to the foil, I remember someone saying a few days ago.

Take the film off, lift out, grease, put back in and cover with foil.
