I know we are not allowed to give medical advice but if your eye/ball/socket was hurting whilst looking left and right would you see a doc or go opticians ? :)

I'd normally go and see the opticians for eyes. But --- if my eyes were hurting like that, I'd go to the doctor that day or to minor injuries/walk in unit.

In fact here I'd do both. Go to the doctors/walk-in and book an optician's appointment for a week or two away just to check that they are okay then.

I've had things like this happen to me before, not with eyes but teeth. All it really needed for the tooth infection was some antibiotics - when I went to the dentist previously, they prescribed that but then there was a charge:eek::eek:! With the doctors, it worked out free (as I had prescription pre-payment already) - I went to the doctor, and then the next time I got another infection, I went to the doctor again - lol - doctor did prescribe but said that as it was teeth I ought to go to the dentist next time!:rotfl::eek:

Silly quack (later occasion) didn't know if a bump in my mouth was cancer-related or not - they did advise I go to the dentist - so I went to my dentists (as an emergency) and they immediately confirmed it was due to one of my teeth impressing - told me you could immediately see that as the injury matched the shape of the teeth impressing into the mouth. Now - why my docs couldn't have just said and spared me all the worry:mad::mad:? Doc had also prescribed some further anti-biotics but, when I asked at the dentist, they said that would be overkill really on this occasion, so first time ever I didn't 'cash' the doc's prescription in. As was inevitable, the bump then cleared itself up without any more problem.

I just caught some skank letting his dog have a crap in my garden

I flew out the front door. Think it caught him by surprise but I wasn't having any of it

He said that he would come back and clean it up but I didn't think he would. Give him his due, he did and he knocked on the door to apologise

  • The offer that I'm looking at is one for free, just pay £2 P&P. My worry was the reliability of the website, I'm such a chicken when it comes to buying anything online unless it's a well known / trusted retailer...
The only thing is it's disposable, it doesn't take filters & you'll need to buy them constantly. Don't accept the "it lasts the same as..." because it's a really vague area & is normally a lot less than what they say. I've never used that site so can't really comment on its service only the overall product
If only batman was here, he'd soon get you told

Right I'm bookmarking twenty to five:eek: to return to to reply, as I'm just going out now. Second NSD in a row - I'm just going for wombling, but not buying anything as I don't need anything at the moment! I seem to be doing very rather well that way!:money:
