    Edit - Yep, appears as a credit on the following month's bill then takes the remainder by DD (only tried one last time of £25 so still £15 to pay by dd). This time I have applied three so it will cover next month and most of the following (if it goes to plan!).

    Shall give this a go this week.
    I have to confess our virgin bill is nearly a hundred quid a month (were trying to move soon so don't want to threaten to leave to get it cheaper as we would get locked in :o )
