Credit File Issue

Hi, today I have been refused a rented house due to 2 CCJs showing against my name. I signed up to experian and it only shows 1, so i called them to query, i was put on hold for 10 mins whilst they searched for anything else, and came back and said there is deffinatly only 1. I called the letting agent and they said there is definately 2, but said they could not give me any details, but did say that the other one could be from a long time ago, can anyone give me any advise to why i can only see 1 on experian? Slightly concerned with it all!!! Thanks in advance

What checking service are the using? One that is linked in with Experian? If not then may explain it. CCJ are recorded here if they exist. http://www.trustonline.org.uk/ Thats where Experian and all the others get their info from so is the most reliable check.

Hi, they got me to complete a form for "HMS" and when it came back with 2, they told me to call a company called CallCredit

You need to view your Callcredit report, do it via Noddle which is free for life, there are 3 credit reference agencies, the data can be different on all 3, the other is Equifax, get your £2 report with them.
