How long do Barclays have to repay PPI once the Ombudsman has ruled in my favour?

I had a letter from the Ombudsman 10 weeks ago saying that Barclays have 8 weeks to repay me mis-sold PPI. After the initial 8 weeks I contacted the Ombudsman who said due to the high level of complaints to give Barclays another 2 weeks to reply. I waited 2 more weeks, heard nothing and rang the Ombudsman again, this time the Ombudsman told me to wait two more weeks saying that the bigger banks take longer because they have so much to deal with.
I know barclays are only two weeks late but I'm impatient! I've tried contacting Barclays but they just referred me straight back to the Ombudsman.
Does anyone know if the banks have any legally enforceable time limit to respond or has anyone had a similar experience with PPI payments once the Ombudsman has ruled?

I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.

There's nothing more you can other than find the e-mail of the ceo and e-mail them.
The ombudsman have no powers to force payment.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
If its an ombudsmans final decision (determination), see http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publications/factsheets/enforcing-an-ombudsmans-decision.pdf
Send an email to PPIEnquiries@barclaycard.co.uk or fos.queries@barclays-frc.com telling them they have a week or your going to court.
If its any other offer to settle hundreds £+, not a good idea to use the court as they will probably dispute owing the money.
Once you get your money, complain to the FOS that you were not told how to enforce the debt -
