Hi,
I posted here the other day and asked about this and was told it's against the rules. There is a bit at the bottom left of the item that say's (report this item). Although saying this the items I reported are still for sale.
Others here might be able to help more but hope I have been of some help.
nickyThanks for any help and advice given

You get a lot of complaints about buyers but sellers like this are ruining ebay and the rep of the site. I don't know if your on about the same seller as me in an earlier thread but if you are, I did not like things about her postage either. I did not bother e-mailing as they always just come back with don't bid then, I just reported them and have not used them. As I said earlier saying that ebay have done nothing about it.Thanks for any help and advice given

It's only against ebay's rules because they want everybody to use Pay Pal so that they can rake in twice - the charge for listing on ebay and the charge for using Pay Pal.
I think the seller is quite right if she wishes she pass on her charges to the customer.
At least it's transparent - otherwise, she'll put the cost onto the postage and then everybody will be paying a charge, even if you're paying by cheque.0 -

I thought when you go to use a service you agree to their rules. If you don't like the fact you are charged to use ebay then for paypal don't use the service. They could always use the free papers that offer you the option to sell your goods without charges. They want to use ebay because there is a better chance of selling, that being the case play fair and abide by the rules and regs. I use ebay less and less now as by the time you pay some sellers postage cost's and all the other little bits they are starting to set out in their seller rules, it's cheaper and safer to go to the shops. I have started to be really careful at looking into the items now as they are coming out with lots of silly things like.
I will add paypal fees to your invoice if you chose to use that as a payment method.
I will send you the proof of postage so you can make the claim.
Saying you are paying for one postal method that you pay for only to find out when you get it they sent it a cheaper way.
It's getting harder to work out who to use now. Sounds grumpy I know but after all we all have to look out for ourselves these days. I know soe will say so is the seller but there must be a limit. Thanks for any help and advice given

.... while I agree with you in principle, it's a bit of a moot point. It's against Ebay's rules and that's that. Any seller who does this has no comeback in the event of a (any!) dispute arising so is just being foolish in the extreme.0
