ok ,thanks for the replies , think ill just ignore them now until i hear otherwise.
was just bit worried in case the begin a court action as I'm in process of applying for mortgage and don't want anything on my credit file to mess that up !

Oh they still might, however, you are wise to them. Keep and eye on your credit files. I would write back telling them exactly what was said above - ie, they are obliged to prove the debt and until they do, they can do exactly as Rizla says. If they continue to harass you, tell them they will be facing criminal charges.

The £1 is for a copy of the credit agreement when you send a CCA request. You would only send a CCA request when you know that the debt is yours.

When you send a 'prove it letter,' you're asking for proof that the debt is yours and you don't have to pay anything.

This is logical, surely. Any DCA could randomly write to me saying I owe this, that and the other. Why should I have to pay anything to get them to prove it?

i always thought they were pretty much the same, as to prove it i want to see the signed agreement, still never payed a pound either way
goal for 2014....i will manage money better ..must resist shopping..............:A

"There is no obligation on us in the abscene of a formal data request t provide you with any further information .We are not the creditor in this matter .As you have already filed a written notice of complaint with our office , you have already followed our complaints procedure .
I therefore reject your complaint. This is my final response.

What now ?? Do i just ignore ?"

I would be tempted to respond with "Lovely doing business with you; have a nice day"

Copy the complaint to queries@arrowglobal.net saying you will go to the FOS if they don't call their dogs off.

WRONG !!!! If they are asking you for money, ie, acting on behalf of the creditor, then it IS there responsibility to pass your request on to the original creditor.

True. You can tell Rectums that.

I would still suggest sending the complaint in duplicate to Arrow. That way you can then take the organ grinder rather than monkey to the FOS if they don't get lost.
