Looking to invest around £5k into something that will give me the best return in say 24 months, what would you recommend?

2 years is way too short for investing. You are looking at keeping you money in cash, and the best interest rates are in current accounts.0

So open one that does, look at other threads here and Budgeting and Bank Accounts, there are loads of suggestions0

There's no limited to the number of current accounts you can open, but most of the ones that pay interest have T&Cs that you have to meet to gain said interest.
Open a few that pay well.What will your verse be?
