Llyods Tsb can any body help me

Hi All
Can any body help me . I have had a letter from mcol saying i am being tranfarred to an appropriate court for continuation, as Lloyds tsb dispute the full amount , they have filed a acknowledgment of service , and they now have 28 days to file a defence . so what do i need to do , can ant body tell me please .i am claiming £5120.00 so i dont want to mess it up at this stage , will there solicitors turn up to defend the claim ??? so can any body please advise me on what i need to do thanks

Hi

You don't need to do anything as yet. The court is now waiting for Lloyds to send in their defence as they have acknowledge the claim and are going to defend. Wouldn't panic just yet. Once they have sent the court and you a copy of their defence you will get another letter from the court with further directions ie. allocation questionare if required.

I had got as far as having a court date set (in August) and fully expected to have to go, but unexpectedly had a letter from Lloyds solicitors offering to pay in full (they didn't want a court case to influence the Office of Fair Trading investigation they said!) - so hopefully, they will settle before your court date too.
